Cliff Kuhn is associate professor of history at Georgia State University. He is the author of two books on Atlanta history: Living Atlanta: An Oral History of the City, 1914-1948 (co-authored with Harlon Joye and Bernard West) and Contesting the New South Order: The 1914-1915 Strike at Atlanta's Fulton Mills.

He has been associated with numerous oral history and community history projects, including WRFG Radio's award-winning "Living Atlanta" series, directed by Harlon Joye, which featured oral history interviews with older Atlanta residents, including eyewitnesses to the Atlanta Riot. He is currently writing a biography of the sociologist Arthur Raper, author of The Tragedy of Lynching.
